This is a regional pitch competition for high school students. Young innovators are invited to develop and submit their ideas for statewide change and win up to $100,000 in prizes!

This opportunity, produced by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Ball State University, supports the belief that innovation and entrepreneurship help the state sustain economic success. Pitch competitions provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to receive feedback, funding, and networking to advance their business ideas.

Gaining experience developing business ideas helps students from all backgrounds get a head start in becoming future innovators and entrepreneurs throughout the state of Indiana.

 

INNOVATE WITHIN PARTICIPANT RULES

  1. Students must submit a one page executive summary outlining their business venture in addition to their application.
  2. Students can work in teams of 1-3, but members of teams must all be from the same region).
  3. The venture must include a recurring revenue model demonstrating that it is self-sustaining.
  4. The venture can be for a product, service, platform, or system.
  5. Teams moving beyond the first round must demonstrate that thorough customer validation has been completed.
