Networking for technology and innovation professionals | Collide | December

We are pleased to invite you to Collide, a networking mixer for technology and innovation professionals. This monthly event is an opportunity for folks to literally and figuratively run into each other to have meaningful conversations. For those who are new to our community, it’s also a great entry point to meet a lot of people at once.

Collide is held the first Thursday of every month. We don’t have speakers; we don’t have programming. The draw is the networking itself – to literally and figuratively run into each other to have meaningful conversations – since there’s not another opportunity otherwise in Bloomington.

If you fit into one of these categories, or you’re simply curious, please register!

-Service providers

Why Attend?

Bloomington is long on talent and intelligence but our technology and innovation community seems less mature than it actually is because our people and companies – for whatever reason – operate in silos. While we’re a small city, we have four pillars that larger communities envy:

-Indiana University – one of the nation’s largest and storied universities
-Cook Medical – a multi-billion dollar medical device manufacturer
-Crane – the world’s third largest naval warfare base
-Ivy Tech – the nation’s largest community college

The objective of Collide is to help make connections, to break down those silos, and to help foster more technology and innovation by supporting each other.

What is the Dimension Mill?

Opening in the Fall of 2018, the Dimension Mill is 19,000 square feet of coworking and incubator space in downtown Bloomington. Our mission is to create jobs and grow wages by launching and accelerating companies. By building an infrastructure for the 21st century – talent, capital, and training – we’re helping determine the trajectory of our City and our State.
