The BTP is a public-private initiative funded by the City of Bloomington, the Indiana University Office for Engagement and the Bloomington Economic Development Corporation.  The BTP strengthens Bloomington’s tech economy through talent recruitment, networking opportunities, and technical assistance. Contact the BTP to learn more about us and become part of a network that is creating the next wave of ideas and jobs for the Bloomington-area economy.  Visit our calendar to take advantage of networking events and other activities.

The BEDC/BTP continues to carry out its mission of attracting quality jobs to Bloomington and Monroe County. We are fortunate to have a vibrant, diverse and accepting community with a strong academic, advanced manufacturing, life sciences and technology base that add to and support our extraordinary quality of life. With assets like Indiana University and Ivy Tech Community College, we will continue to attract the highly skilled and talented workforce our local employers and community need. The BEDC will continue to address the opportunities and challenges our businesses face, and is confident that our community will maintain its distinction as one of the best places to do live, work and do business in Indiana.

The Bloomington Technology Partnership (BTP) is a public-private initiative of the Bloomington Economic Development Corporation (BEDC). The BEDC is a not-for-profit corporation led by a partnership between local governments, private industry leaders and higher education. The BTP is funded in part by the City of Bloomington.
